Upon start up, the game launched with no problem! I uninstalled Version 531.79 from and reinstalled Version 531.61 from April 13, 2023, then rebooted my computer. Black Screen/Hang on Launch at Shader Compilation Screen using Driver 531.18 On ApnVidia addressed this exact issue in their Fixed Bug notes: So when I went back to the nVidia website and looked at the past drivers, the one that I updated from, I noticed something peculiar about the *Notes of the three versions.

When I looked at when my game started (or stopped loading) with the issue, I thought about what changed. As of this writing, the latest nVidia driver for the GTX 10 series (GTX1070 & GTX1060) is 531.79. This seems to be a driver issue, at least with nVidia, that was patched, but may have broke in the following (5 days later) update, and continues into the latest up date.
